Peter Mac’s Unite to Fight Cancer Fundraising Event
Cancer has been one of the most dangerous killers in society. As the second leading cause of death globally, it is responsible for an estimated over 9 million deaths to date. Many significant operations, research, and development programs were then built in providing support to those who suffer from the disease.
Located in Melbourne, Australia, Peter Maccallum Cancer Center is one of the prominent oncology research institute, cancer treatment, and professional oncologist training centre built to provide extensive support in understanding and fighting cancer in society.
Every October, Peter Mac organises a flagship challenge fundraiser event known as Unite to Fight Cancer.
Interestingly this year, the event is made virtual to keep the public safe from the pandemic while making sure the fundraising event is running smoothly to continue to support and care for the people affected by cancer.
United We Will Beat Cancer
At TOPBOX, we aim to give as much as we can for a better society and the environment. As our fantastic employee, Eva has taken on the challenge to ride 200km within ten days for Unite to Fight Cancer; we pledge to donate $10 for every km that Eva rode.
Finished at 204.4km, TopBox Storage and staff donated a total of $2,560 to “UNITE TO FIGHT CANCER” Research and is exceptionally proud of our great employee, Eva, for fighting on such a great and important cause.
